Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Creator Dunning, a service operated by Joshua Johns ("we", "us"). By creating an account or connecting a Stripe account you agree to them.

The service

Creator Dunning connects to your existing Stripe account, watches for failed subscription payments and emails the affected subscribers on your behalf with a link to update their payment method, following up periodically until the invoice is paid. We read subscription and invoice data from Stripe; we do not move funds, change your products or prices, or issue refunds.

Your responsibilities

You must have the right to contact the subscribers whose details we receive from Stripe, and you are responsible for the accuracy of your Stripe data and for complying with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer and email regulations in your region. Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.

Fees

The Free plan covers up to 100 tracked subscribers and costs nothing; no card is required. Above that, Pro is $19 per month up to 2,000 tracked subscribers and Scale is $49 per month with no cap. A tracked subscriber is a subscription in your Stripe account that is active, trialing, past due or unpaid. Paid plans are a flat monthly fee per account, never a percentage of recovered revenue, billed in advance through Stripe and appearing on your statement as CREATOR DUNNING. You are only ever charged after you explicitly subscribe. If you pass the limit of your plan we email you and keep sending recovery emails for another 14 days; after that those emails pause until you move up a plan, and everything else keeps working. Creators who connect a Stripe account on or before 31 December 2026 keep the paid tiers at no charge until 30 June 2027, whatever their subscriber count.

Refunds and cancellation

You can cancel at any time by revoking Creator Dunning's access in your Stripe dashboard or by emailing support@creatordunning.com. The service stops immediately and you are not billed again. Paid plans can also be cancelled from the billing portal linked on your dashboard. Fees are billed monthly in advance and the current month is not prorated on cancellation; if the service failed on our side, email support@creatordunning.com within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it. The Free plan has nothing to refund.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to send messages unrelated to recovering legitimate subscription payments, to contact people who have not subscribed to you, or in any way that is unlawful, deceptive or abusive. We may suspend accounts that do.

Disconnecting and termination

You can stop the service at any time by revoking Creator Dunning's access in your Stripe dashboard; reminders stop immediately. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing support@creatordunning.com. We may suspend or end the service with reasonable notice, or immediately if these terms are breached.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is. We work to deliver emails promptly but cannot guarantee that any particular payment will be recovered, that emails will be delivered, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost revenue.
